Hitashi Shah, our Operational Director, is a graduate of Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), Delhi, who found her passion for social service, especially in education, leading her to join the Teach for India fellowship. She brings a progressive outlook to our school, thrives on team development, and holds ethics at the forefront. Driven by a deep sense of purpose, Hitashi ensures that every decision aligns with the values and vision of our school.

Jothilakshmi. L is our school’s principal, who has been a part of our team for the past five years, and epitomizes the ideal balance between being strict and kind. Armed with an M.Sc. in Mathematics, she has achieved remarkable 100% results in her previous educational roles. Her leadership style combines a firm commitment to maintaining high standards with a genuine and caring demeanor. ”
Administrative Head
V. Aruna, our Admin Head, has been a key support of our school community for 14 years. Her humble and caring nature, she has guided the school through every season, offering unwavering dedication. Aruna is not just an administrative leader; but a cherished friend to all visiting volunteers, embodying the spirit of warmth and unity that defines our school.
RISE School was set up in a remote village where the requirement for a quality school was very high. A detailed survey was carried out in early 2000 and Samiyandipudhur village in Pollachi taluk, Coimbatore district, Tamil Nadu was identified as an ideal location to start a school for rural children as there was a need for a school which provide equal educational opportunities as their urban peers at affordable cost.
